Nirmal Rampersad

Chairman
A second generation owner, Nirmal has served on multiple private sector boards and chaired one of the largest state boards. Through his dynamic leadership and innovative ways, he has adapted changing environments to drive transformation and sustainability for the company and its key stakeholders. Nirmal continues to lead the Rampersad family business as one of the Caribbean’s premier industrial companies.

Martyn Killingbeck

Technical Services Consultant 

Martyn has been working with the Company for approximately 20 years, during which time he has developed, led and implemented major process management change initiatives to establish the Company as a National Market Leader in the delivery of its business.

UK apprentice trained with over 35 years of practical/technical experience in rotating machinery repair, refurbishment and upgrades, as well as a qualified professional engineer, he imparts considerable engineering and managerial knowledge to his close-knit team of self-empowered, multi-skilled and well-motivated individuals.

Martyn's broad based business experience, desire for growth and risk management awareness bodes well in ensuring the Company continues to diversify within a stable business environment.

Avinash Rampersad (LLB BVC)

Chairman Designate

Graduated with Bachelor of Laws - LLB (with honours) and a Barrister of England and Wales via Lincolns Inn in 2001, Avinash puts his energetic personality towards developing and nurturing key strategic relationships with Clients and associated Business Partners. He has also recently completed the Henley Leadership MBA and continues to pioneer long term sustainability and business expansion and is well positioned to assume his role as the third-generation leader.

Shakti Rampersad

Automotive Division Head / Director
A marketing professional by qualification from Mount Allison University in Canada, Shakti has managed the Administration and Human Resources sectors for over 20 years. In recent years, Shakti has taken up the mantle of Automotive Division Head where she strives towards revitalizing this area of the business by improving and expanding our existing product lines and services, particularly in the Automotive Battery Supply and CNG/Electric Vehicle Markets.
 

Karlene Rampersad

Chief Administrative Officer

Mrs. Rampersad has over fifteen years related industry experience with independent oil and gas companies in Trinidad. At DRCL, Karlene is responsible for managing the Finance, Human Resources and Administrative Departments. Karlene is a member of the Association of Business Executives (UK) and holds a Degree in Respiratory Therapy and an International Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Anglia Ruskin University (United Kingdom).
